About Us

Welcome, Traveler! You’ve found the newly-renovated Junction House on the grounds of Kingsland’s historic Antlers Hotel and Railyard. If the outside seems eerily familiar, then you’ve probably seen “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” - this 1800’s house was featured prominently in the movie before it was moved to this location from Williamson County in the 1990’s.

Now we are known for our comfortable and casual interior and truly unique and varied menu. It is inspired by regional cuisine from Galveston (Seafood), New Orleans (Cajun), Fort Worth (Steaks), and South Texas, home of the King Ranch (where Wild Game abounds).

About Your Hosts

Chris Sullivan and Greg Malik are born-and-raised Texans and are proud to support our community by “keeping it local”. Chris learned his chops at Butera’s in Houston, Le Peep in the Village, Kerbey Lane Cafe in Austin, Llano’s acclaimed Badu House, the Hi-Line Resort and Rod & Reel Grill at Lake Buchanan, and at the Fredricksburg Brewing Company and Hanger Hotel Complex. Greg managed the Big Sky Resort Dining Room in Montana for 7 years before re-locating to Austin to work with the Kerbey Lane Cafes. His skills in the kitchen packed ‘em in at Austin’s famed Hill Top Cafe, the Hi-Line Resort and Rod & Reel Grill, and the Llaneaux Seafood House in Llano.
